Hey Baz----actually, I'd like to hear more about what you think. Your descriptions are kind of sparse. Open up, bro, and paint some word pictures. I want to know more.
with all the players spending so much time looking for "The SOUND" I thought that this thread would have got more replies.
Is it the $1,500 price tag or just that no-one has heard the name before. In the world of Bass Guitarists, it is the ultimate, and IMHO the "Reso2" out-performs ANY other steel amp I have used.

Basil, your amp is certainly beautiful. I look forward to hearing it some day. The unfortunate thing about amps is that they tend to be expensive, and you can't really tell how good they are until you use them in a playing situation.
Thanks Susan, as well as the links to my amp photos, there is also a link directly to Ashdown's web site http://www.ashdownmusic.co.uk/
there is a lot of info about their complete "range" (that's not the range as in kitchen appliances b0b).
I will post some sound clips as soon as I get time to.
BTW I am appearing at the Irish Steel Guitar
Festival 2002 at 4:30-5:15pm on Saturday 7th of September. http://groups.msn.com/TheBritishSteeliesSociety/forthcomingirishfestival.msnw
