Has anyone tried this for the steel? I've read where some of you use a POD including Paul Franklin on some of the Players gigs.

Tony,
I have a J-Station that I use for practice.
I can leave it set up and run it through my practice amp. Saves time, etc, not having to set up my gigging rig.
I find the blackface and British settings somewhat acceptable, with tweaking, but I wouldn't use it on a gig. I prefer the effects from my RV-3 and H&K Rotosphere over the J-Station. My J-Station is also just a bit noisy.
