Post by Billy Woo »

Hi Mike

I recently bought a Peavey Bass Fex and I'm having problems already. I keep getting a message like Dcp Fatal Error- System resetting and the message keeps flashing?? I've tried rebooting the system but it refuses to work..It's a neat option for recording bass but Im dead in the water so to speak...help..

Hello Billy,
There is not anything that you can do external of the unit to correct this, but make sure that you attempt to reinitialize the unit if possible. But, at the same time, you can remove the top to check for battery leakage. If this is the problem, I advise that you return the unit to the service department here at Peavey or have an authorized Peavey service center replace the battery and clean the boards for possible contamination.

You can return the unit to;
Peavey Service Center
Attention; Repair Department
Hwy. 80 East
Meridian, MS 39301

Please include a daytime phone number and return shipping instructions. I can be reached at 1-877-732-8391 should you have further questions.
