Hey, some of you session 400 users. what are some setting you use to get enough bottom end
without getting a muddy sound

mine is the old model, with a 15" Black widow

Joe, Here is what I use on my 1976 Session 400..

presence--6

treble--2

mids--3 or 4

shift--7

bass--8 or 10

Nearly the same...except I reverse the presence and treble settings.
Both presence and treble can move alot, depending on the room. I usually run them between 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock. If I run the bass full on, then the treble and presence have to run on the high side. Mid around 8 o'clock. Shift around noon to 1 o'clock. Bass 3 o'clock to full on.
I use two session 400s. Usually stacked.
