Lexicon Not Working Right in Boogie V-Twin FX Loop

Post by Steve Feldman »

Well, it works, but there's a significant 'hum that isn't there when I place the Lex simply between the preamp and my power amp. The components are all isolated in the rack, the ground loop is lifted on the Korg tuner, and the system is dead quiet when run preamp > Lex > amp. It actually sounds better when run through the FX loop, but I can't hack that hum....

I've read on here previously that someone else had this same problem with a V-Twin preamp. Is it just something with the Boogie FX loop in general? Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.
[This message was edited by Steve Feldman on 02 May 2002 at 05:04 PM.]
