Eddie! This is a Gretsch amp line that I was involved with when I was with Gretsch, They were made in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. by Goss Electronics, they were supposed to have JBL speakers, but in order to cut corners they put Altec Lansings in instead! Altecs were designed more for Stereo Systems than Lead or Steel Guitar. Most or all of these were made in 1976, there was also a Keyboard, & a Bass model, They never sold well & did have electronic problems, also they were 60 watts, but put out plenty of power! au

Eddie,
As you know, we design and manufacture a wide variety of amplifiers as well as the best selling steel guitar amplifier, the Nashville 1000. Here is a link to this model from the Peavey website;http://www.peavey.com/products/amps_mi/ ... le1000.cfm

If I can be of further assistance, please let me know. I can be reached toll free at 1-877-732-8391.

I think Peavey amps are overrated and the last post, not at all adressing the original post, borders on spam.

Mike Brown is a valuable resource and friend to steelers everywhere...so I am sure he could care less about your opinion of his employer's amps...

I've never heard of a "Nashville Pro Steel" amp, and maybe Mike hasn't either. Perhaps he thought Eddie was referring to a Peavey Nashville 400. That's what I thought at first.

I've never owned anythig but PV equipment, great gear, and never known Mike Brown to side step any issue. One of the best friends steel players have. Another satisfied customer. Image------Skip
