Heres my latest fun thing to do when tracking to a computer while recording. Once i have my PSG tracks dumped to my computer, I use an amplitude program to do fade ins and outs on the tracks. In other words, I record w/out a volume pedal, and start playing a little earlier than i normally would, and this give me the chance to have the perfect fade in(volume pedal swell simulation). It is working great.
Im having a blast tweeking my PSG track on the computer! Here is my formula for true sonic chaos; run a PSG track throug an autotune program, and the autotune freaks out because it doesnt know what to do w/ all of the semitones and slides, and creates an insane sonic schmear! Not super usefull, but fun if you like chaos in sections of your music.
Will hopefully have some MP3s to post soon!
