Vegas

Post by Dave Seddon »

I've just got a Vegas amp, can anyone give me any ideas about settings. I use an S10 which is one I built my self, mostly using Sho-Bud parts, and a BL610 pickup. I intend to get a 710 when I can afford it, but at the moment I would appreciate any suggestions.
Cheers
Dave.

Hi Dave, you'll find the best settings for this amp in the manual on the Peavey site.

Wrong section. Moved from "Pedal Steel" to "Electronics".

Dave,
since the Vegas uses the same "basic" EQ section as the Nashville's, etc, you can check out Buddy's website where his settings have been given. He has given his recommendations on how he sets his amps on this forum, too, so check the "search".
I have a Vegas and an early, and later model Nashville. His recommendations always seem to work for the kind of sound I like to try to get. Good luck!

Dave - As someone mentioned - the settings in the peavey manual are real close - I also added the Peavey mod kit to mine for a little over $40 - That made a real amp out of it for both steel and lead guitar
