Hey guys.Is the old Nashville Pro Steel model amp made by Grestch,,,the same amp or pretty close to the Sho Bud amps of the day?I have one that I love.I would think that they are not that many around.How many of you have one,and do you like it? tomsteel 2Carters,ltd,session400,400limited,etc,etc

I had one of those many,many years ago and I loved it.
It was close to the Sho-Bud single channel but the Sho-Bud was somewhat the better amp. Still the Gretsch Pro Steel was a great amp especialy if you didn't have to push it too hard.
I'll say this, I wish I still had mine even though it looked like it had been drug behined a truck.

I bought a new one with a Sho-Bud steel in 1983 when Gretsch was marketing them as a "package" with their ShoBuds. I soon found that it was underpowered for the club-work I was doing then so I bought a Standel for a work amp.
