The yellow and blue speaker wires on the Peavey amps, which one is positive?

And unless you're dealing with multiple speakers, or using two amps, the polarity is totally irrelevant.

Dennis , I agree with Donny..The Peaveys come from the factory with the yellow wire to the red positive terminal of the speaker..

However, the amp output,and the speaker are AC devices..So the poliarity is constantly changing back and forth from + to - at a rate determined by the frequency of the signal..So it really does not matter in a one speaker situation..

With multi speakers, they must be wired the same so they will be "in phase"..

Just to muddy up the mix even more! JBL speakers are phased backwards to the rest of the industry. A positive pressure on the positive lead causes a rear-ward movement of the speaker. Not so with other speakers! So if you have a JBL and another speaker cab with it (non JBL) it will be out of phase with the JBL. A 1.5 volt battery test will identify a speakers phase quickly.
