Hey Jon - I've been to your link. Those ARE electrons traveling from a cathode to an anode, right?

No, there is only one electron. The shape of our 3-brane in 10-dimensional space allows us to approach that electron in many different ways, creating the illusion that there are many electrons. That is why "different" electrons have identical properties (mass, charge, spin, etc).
