Tricks With a Boss Tone

Post by Robert Rogers »

I know how to do violin or cello effects with a boss tone but, what are some other nice things you can do with a jordan or sho-bud boss tone?
Thanks,
Robert

Comes in handy for hearing the "beats" when you have problems tuning. The "heterodyne" effect is much more noticable with the clipped wave the Boss Tone generates.

Also, I used the Boss tone in conjunction with an MXP Phase 100 chorus box (set to slow phase) back in my younger days. It gives a really awesome fat sound to the "heavy-metal" type music.

Occasionally, when someone else is soloing, I'll unplug mine from the guitar and dig earwax out Image

Keep on pickin'!
