I don't think there is. I have a friend with a Profex II and that is one thing he noticed, that my Transtube Fex did have.

No phase in Profex II.But the tubefex and transtubefex have a goodin. As for (phaser for steel guitar).I'm in to the phase sound Buddy Emmons used in the late 70's mostly for up tempo C6th things. It took some tweaking but I've come up with a sound very close to the old MXR.Or maybe it's just in my hands. Bobby: Could you post the Tube- and TransTube-Fex setting for us ? You mentioned a distortion program you have in a post/thread awhile back. Is it still too long to post ?? I'm always open for new things like these if they aren't too long to post out. Thanks !!

Paul have you checked out the Transtube/Tube Fex programs I have on my web page? There is a phase and a distortion that I use with the steel. The phase is a modified factory program so I don't take credit for it.

Jack: I have and use quite frequently, your modified Phaselee but I keep my eye out for anything new and Bobby got my curiosity fired up when he mentioned his distortion program sometime back. It may well be that it is too large to post here. Thanks for the mention !

Paul I can't type so we'll take a lot of short cuts.I've never tweaked factory presets nor do I cop Newman programs.Anything I write will be called (Bob's whatever)
(BOB's Phase)
TB>3B+RV+DL>PH
TB, EQ to your taste 3B eq to taste RV Spring very little.here again to your taste.Delay Stereo, very little.Phase Rate 15 depth 31 Mix 100 output level 100.I use way more mids for this program.Remember it's DL>PH.Sorry not much help, but maybe a start.I use this to (try) and play Buddy type things on C6th.The secert is in the EQ.But unless we were using the same (Rig)it would not do much good to post it. Paul, you've done this longer than me.Just use your ears. My Best!-------------bb Edit.I'm sorry Paul, you wanted the distorion.I'm brain dead.I can't even type well enough to explain that one.Maybe later.bb
[This message was edited by Bobby Boggs on 14 January 2002 at 08:48 PM.]

Bobby: Thanks for the information. Gives me something to work with. I do appreciate the effort.

Hey, don't let that old guy thing get you. I used to think having been at this for so long was one of my credentials. WRONG !! It doesn't go that way. A whole lot of you new players could show me so much in the way of licks and sounds, I couldn't begin to know where to start to ask what.

Everybody has their own bag and the trick to learning is sharing and I think that is what
b0b had in mind when he started this Forum. I have found more here in the last year than in the previous thirty years of writing and enquiring at shows. It is The Mostest of The Bestest !!
