Pro Fex Batteries Location
I have a Pro Fex II and would like to know where the batteries are located. Two freinds of mine that had Pro Fex IIs and myself can not find the batteries in my Pro Fex.It works fine but I want to know where they are located.Tony Palmer put Dobro on it for me and it sounds great. Len Amaral put the Jeff Newman card in it for me and I have some great sound comming out of this Great Fessy Steel.I got the Pro Fex from amusic store two years ago and I only payed $79.95 for it.I guess they did not know what it was for.

Sam,
Just remove the top, two screws on each side and one in the front and back. If it's leaking, clean it with acetone and a q-tip. That will stop the battery acid from doing more damage. If you can't find anyone to replace the battery, you can send it to me. I replace them for all my steeling buddys in the Portland area. I use a Peavey midi-streamer to store the data, and reload it afetr I've initialized the unit. Email me if you want me to do it for you.
