My On line Profex II Program Listing

Post by Jack Stoner »

I know there are some differences between what is displayed on the Tube/Transtube Fex and the Profex II.

We've been over the listing several times and I've made several updates to it but I still get queries about some of the parameters in the listing.

I'd appreciate someone with a Profex II going over the listing and giving me any updates so I can get the listing 100% correct. There are only a few differences but they are apparently enough to throw some off when they try to compare or program the Profex II.

The listing is at http://web.tampabay.rr.com/jstoner1 and then click on the tab for the Profex II and Transtube Fex listings.

Thanks

Jack: Thanks a million for both of those programs. I was just going to ask a friend for his Pro-Fex II settings because I heard Larry Sasser using the 5th Below program on his Sassy Country album ( see my post page 3 of Lesser Known Players today...). I'd lost that program in some of my messin' around with programs.

It's nice to see some of Gary Hogue programs as well. I intend to try those as well. Again, many thanks for you efforts here.

Paul,

Larry actually used an Ibanez Harmonizer on his "Sassy Country" album.

He showed it to me in Indianapolis back in 91 or 92 after his album came out.

Larry was a guest at the Indy Steel Club.

Jack...don't know what it is you need. But I have the Profex II and Ram cards from Peavey. If there's something I might be able to do for you please let me know. Jon Miller

Tim; I had the once in a lifetime experience of actually getting to talk to Larry live on the air one night, years ago. I asked what he was using for an echo on he replied: "An Ibanez Delay. " I didn't actually know what he was using on the album but I heard the added lower fith harmony as I've used it before. That is what I wanted from my Tube-Fex, A Pitch Shifter program and Jack had it for me. Thanks again to both of you for knowing the difference. Image

Jon, Hello haven't talked to you since the Plant City show two years ago.

I have the Profex II program listing on my web site but there MAY be a couple of errors on one or two effects because of the differences between the Profex II and the Transtube Fex which I used.

Someone with a Profex II needs to go through the listing and send me the necessary corrections so I can update the listing.

I've received one update from Michael Maese and have incorporated it in the listing (#14 had a couple of the 4B EQ parameters missing). Thanks, Mike.

Anything else???
