Cache cards for Peavey

Post by Jim Florence »

Anyone know what other cache cards will work in a Profex or a Session 2000? Mike Brown told me of one but I don't remember what it was. At that time the other one was available from Musician's Friend but they don't list it now. Heeelp

Hi Bob, I'd be interested in it too, what I'm trying to do is save some programs I have for when the time comes for changing batteries. I have a Peavey cache 32, a profex II, and a session 2000. Since peavey has stopped production on all of them, it's only a matter of time before they will need batteries and I want a backup card that I can put fresh batteries in, load it and avoid any surprises. What do you have to have for your card?
Thanks, Jim

Jim, I have a couple of the Roland cards too, but I see no need for you to get an extra card. In your case you could either:
1) Change your ProFex II battery, load your ram card to the ProFex II, change your ram card battery, then reload your ram card.
2) Load your ram card to the ProFex II, change your ram card battery, reload your ram card, change your ProFex II battery, then load your ram card to the ProFex II.

I'm sure you're right Jim, but that sounds
A lot more complicated than buying another card. Now that I know Carter sells them, it'll be easy. Thanks guys
Jim
