Question for Mike Brown (Profex Battery)

Post by Rick Tyson »

Hi Mike,
I have owned my ProfexII now going on 7 years with no problems Image I have been told the battery life on these units is about 5 years.
My question is, would it be wise for me to replace the battery and if so can I do this myself. I do much of my own soldering, Mod units Etc. on my Nashville 400s Etc.
And where might I pick up a battery for a Profex.
Thanks ,Rick

Hello Rick,
You may purchase the battery for your Profex II direct from our Parts Department by calling 1-877-732-8391 and asking for that department. Pricing for the part can be quoted by our Parts personnel.

If you are skilled at soldering, it should not be a problem with replacing the battery. Removal of the circuit board is required. Our Repair Assistance line is (601)483-5365. They will be glad to assist you with this repair.

I just replaced the battery in a Bassfex unit. The whole process took about 30 minutes.
