Lexicon MPX 200

Post by Erv Niehaus »

I am wondering if any Forumites out there have had any experience with the new MPX200 unit that Lexicon has come out with. I understand that there was some programming dissatisfaction with the MPX 100 unit and I don't feel like spending the extra bread required to move up the the MPX 500 and on to the other units. This new unit also has a built in compressor that might come in handy. I used to play with a compressor but ran out of rack space so eliminated it some time ago. I use an original Blue Tube II, a Tube works spring reverb, and a Tube Works amp in my rack unit. I love the spring reverb and am looking for primarily a rack mounted echo/chorus unit. I am presently using an old Ibanez echo/chorus unit that Jeff Newman recommended many years ago and feel like it should be updated. Would appreciate your input!

Hi Erv....
I've got the MPX-100 model and I've not had any problems from a programming standpoint. Actually most of the posts I've seen here on the Forum have been pretty favorable for this particular unit.
Best wishes.
