DPC-1000 On-Off Switch

Post by Paul Graupp »

Last night, for the first time, my on-off switch felt unusual. It only did it once but I'm wondering if it will fail later and if so, I'd want to replace it now. Or it may be just a common thing with this switch. It felt as if the roll over contacts didn't want to go. Sort of like a click in the center of the motion. Next set it was OK. Anyone else ever notice this ?

Hello Paul,
Sometimes a mechanical part can wear out and throw you a curve like that. There is really no way to tell if the switch will fail, but here's the part number in case you need to obtain one from our parts department here at the factory. #71322375 The switch has to be unsoldered from the inside. You can gain access by removing the top of the unit.

You may call us at 1877-732-8391. Thanks for using Peavey gear.
[This message was edited by Mike Brown on 30 July 2001 at 06:43 AM.]
