Profex Mod Kit.......What does it do?

I was just reading Mike Browns post about Peavey accessories for the steel, and saw there is a mod kit for the Profex 2. I put a mod kit in my old 400 and it was like getting a new amp. What does the Peavey mod kit do? and is it difficut to install (I installed the amp mod kit real easy)

It brightens up the Profex II and reduces the noise. I've put one kit in a Profex II and it improved it 100%, to my estimation.
