Presence what is it and how do I use it. On the tubefex were is a good starting point.

Hello Bob,
A "presense" control is an equalization control that basically allows the operator to adjust the amount of extreme high frequencies. Presence can really brighten up the equalization on a stringed instrument such as a steel guitar.

For example, on a Nashville 400 the presence control is centered at 5kHz. and can be boosted(added) or cut(reduced) at that frequency. You will have to strike the higher strings on your guitar and turn the presence control and adjust it to you personal taste.
