I just bought a used '92 Evans.
1. This particular amp is missing the ground pin on the power cord. Before I replace it, I wanted to verify that these amps are indeed designed with a grounded plug.
2. Also, the reverb (while strong and working fine) seems a bit noisy. Anyone have similar experience with this reverb problem? Any suggestions?
Thanks, Chuck

The amp did indeed come with a grounded plug. It was probably removed to act as a ground lift. This eliminates ground loop problems. The proper way to accoplish this is to install a ground lift switch. I have not had any problems with noise in the reverbs of either of my Evans Amps. Best of luck
