Correct Speaker for NV 400

Post by Tim Harr »

What is the correct replacement basket for the Nashville 400? About 1997 vintage.

I am looking for the one that is soniclly best suited for steel guitar usage.

Thanks in advance.

The Peavey BW 1501-4 is the stock speaker that comes with this amp (and the current 1000 and 2000 amps).

A JBL D130-4 sounds really good in the Nashville 400 and Peavey supplied this type of speaker in some of their Session 400 amps.

Thanks guys for the recommendation. I highly recommend the 1501-4 ohm Black Widow speaker for steel guitar applications. This is the only speaker that we use for steel purposes.
