They look like off an old 70's TV. I'd like to replace mine on the newly re-covered amp, as some are in a bid poor shape.
Ther're black plastic knobs 1" dia x 5/8" high with a transparent plastic 1.5" base with numbers 0 to 10.
And here's even an ugly picture for you:
Note: There are two diferent versions. Either one would do, if I could only find them. I can not believe that Sho~Bud actually had them made just for these amps (and that in two versions). Must have been some "standard" stuff... (I hope )

Have you tried Antique Electronics Supply in Arizona?? I had one of their catalogs but misplaced it but I seem to remember a lot of different knobs. Those are fairly common and generic knobs used on a lot of amps and communicatins equipment. A ham radio parts supply probably has some that will work.
Mouser Electrics also shows a knob similar to that in their catalog. Mouser is also on the net http://www.mouser.com
Thanks to both of you!
I have now visited both sites. I could not find what I was looking for (I assume they don't have everthing on the web), so I e-mailed both.
Jack, if you could give me the number of the particular knob you've seen in the mouser catalogue (it's not on their web page).
Thanks again!
The Mouser stock number for a similar knob is 45KN021, made by Eagle Control and Instrument Knobs and it's knob "V" on page 362 of their latest catalog. It's not an exact replacement but so close no one would ever know the difference.
Go back to the mouser web page and enter that p/n in the search. It will bring the item up and also a hyperlink to view the catalog page (adobe format) which shows the knob.
No luck yet:
<ul>[*]Mouser's knob # 45KN021 base or skirt is solid aluminum. The X-mas tree has lights behind the dial numbers, so the skirt ought'a be at least somewhat transparent.
[*]Tubes'n'More turned out to be a very promising site. Has a lot of strange hard to find stuff. But they responded negativ to my e-mail.[/list]
Those knobs look just like the type used on older Milicron NC Machines. I will be able to check it out in a few days. If it's a match I'll fix you up........Ed
