Any Good Quadraverb Settings?

Amplifiers, effects, pickups, electronic components, wiring, etc.

Any Good Quadraverb Settings?

Post by Jon Smorada »

I recently acquired a Quadraverb GT. The factory settings are intended for Guitar (distortion). Does anyone have any good Steel settings they'd like to share.

It looks like it has the same configurations as the Quadraverb, but with the addition of an analog preamp (distortion/overdrive, compression and noise gate), so standard Quadraverb settings will work.

Jon, I can send them to you on a disk if you've got "Freeloader," the midi dump from Alesis. Or, I guess I could send you both Freeloader and my settings. You know what they sound like from the Red Dog. Lemme know what a mailing address is, or maybe we could coordinate a direct "download" from my computer to yours, or something like that.

BTW, I am PLANNING to be at Bolivar Ohio for the jam on the 24th of September. If you're gonna make it, yo could pick it up then. Lemme know, CJC/CD

Chick,

I'll be in Toronto the weekend of the Jam, so I won't make it.

If you have an FTP client (Windows comes with a quick and dirty command line interface), you can upload it to my FTP server at 208.0.146.136. After you log in, CD to the incoming directory. User name would be anonymous, password would be anyone@anywhere.com (doesn't matter as long as it's in e-mail address format. It's a modem connection so it's not too fast. The server's usually up 24x7 except during electrical storms Image
