BossTone Pots
Here's one for Carl Dixon and the other electronics whiz-kids. I need to change the Attack pot on a Boss Tone (it goes from zero to 60 in about a nanometer of movement) Tried to clean it but of course they are semi-sealed. Any idea where I might try for the right part?
Thanks.

It's a 100K ohm linear pot. Those type of PC mount pots may be hard to find. Check with Radio Shack, they may have something that will work. Here in the states some of the bigger electronics parts houses such as Mouser Electronics may have something too. Mouser is on line (mouser.com). There's probably a large electronics wholesaler up there in the north country that you could check with too.
Another alternative, drastic but might be an option, is to put the boss tome in a small metal mini-box and use standard type pots.

This surplus electronics dealer may or may not have what you need, as they deal mostly in items which were excess inventories from maufacturers. Prices are low, service excellent, and they do have tons of hard to find items not commonly sold as consumer products to end-users. http://www.allelectronics.com/
