Would you believe it?
On the BBc Country show last night it was reported that TimMcGraw and Faith Hill earned $177m last year on music and merchandise sales whilst the Dixie Chicks earned $125m.
Who says that country music isnt still big?
By contrast, it is reported that the UK Royal Family costs the UK taxpayer £8m a year (approx $11m) but might manage to break even by 2008.

Hi Jack
What you have to remember is that in the UK we only get two one hour programmes each week on country so we are limited to what we get to hear and know.
If you want to see what we are given, then loook at the playlists at www.smoothoperations.com/nick.html

...that's exactly the same stuff that we're given, Clive, except they assault us with the same list over and over 24 hours a day, 7 days a week...
