Biller and Wakefield tour with Wayne Hancock.... this is there solo album and it is very good. Has a 50's jazzy swing flavor to it... Wakefield's steel playing is hot.

also Biller will be on Herb Steiner's new album.

It's a buy....

You folks who like instramentals would appriciate this one. I've known about Dave
since his days with Dale Watson. I've never seen him live but have talked to Karen at the
Cornell Hurd gigs.

Jeremy Wakefield did the steel on Wayne Hancocks last album Wild Free and Reckless.
This is not my favorete album of Waynes but Jeremy holds up following the licks of Herb Steiner and Lloyd Maynes on the first 2 albums.

And to make a great recording even better, you can get this on vinyl. If your local record shop doesn't stock vinyl, drop me a line and I'll set you up. Also, don't miss Biller and Wakefield and a host of other hot players on Wayne Hancock's new album, "Wild, Free and Reckless."
Happy New Year everybody.

I bought "Hot Guitars" from a thrift store in Austin back in March. I was pretty floored by the album. It's really fun. A song called "Close Enough" (I think that's the title) is a real hoot, and showcases some great Tele pickin.

I play the album for anyone who is willing to listen, and for some who aren't willing.
