Signal Chain

Post by Jeff Buesing »

What are some different options for guitar to amp signal chains? Does anyone use the "tuner" output on a volume pedal? If you use a clamp on tuner, where does the guitar signal come from?

I'd love to hear about everyone's set up.

Thanks!

I go from guitar to either VP, then HX Stomp, then amp.... HX Stomp, then VP, then amp. Don't use the "Tuner Out" on the VP (unless I'm recording and don't want to use the FX unit).... the HX Stomp can be configured to also act as a strobe tuner, and seems very easy to use, then by just moving to one of your presets, it goes away.

Note, this most likely is not a usual setup.

Is it safe to assume that you mean PSG, and not 6 string or lap steel or something else?
