Boo-Wah 1/4 Turn Tone pot
I used to buy these tone pots for my lap steels. You would turn them a 1/4 turn and it would give you a really quick sweep of the variable resistor. I thought I bought them at Tone-tronix but they don't have them. Does anyone know where I might be able to find these? Thank you.

I find that a 1meg pot does it for me... it's a normal-sweep pot, but you get all the tone cut action near the top of the range. I'd say linear would work better than audio taper, but I haven't played with this in a long time.Paul Hutzler wrote: 19 Mar 2026 2:46 pm I used to buy these tone pots for my lap steels. Okay yeah, I found one of my 1/4 turn pots and used the stock 0.022 micro farad pot and it worked but not quite as pronounced as like danny gatton or roy buchanan. I think I might try a 1 mega ohm pot.
