Steel Guitar Shopper Announces New Shipping Rates

The Steel Guitar Shopper catalog has been around for decades, and like anything that’s slowly grown up on the internet, it’s due for a little refreshing.

I’ve been working through the site to improve navigation and make it easier to find the things you need to support your steel guitar journey.

While these updates are in progress, we’ve also introduced new shipping rates for U.S. delivery addresses - flat rate ground and media mail shipping with no minimums - and free shipping on orders over $49.00, with the option to upgrade to Priority if you need your order quickly.

Any insights on shipping rates to Canada?

International Shipping Update (Canada & Beyond)

We’re actively working on improving international shipping, including service to Canada.

To do this properly, I first need to ensure every product in the store has accurate weights, dimensions, and customs details. Once that’s complete, I’ll be integrating new shipping software that will allow international customers to see real-time shipping options and rates (USPS, DHL, FedEx, etc.) at checkout.

In the meantime:
International orders currently default to USPS Priority Mail International, which is the only service we’re using right now. After I process your shipment, I will refund any difference between what you paid and the actual shipping cost.

This improved shipping experience is absolutely part of the long-term plan—it’s just a bit of a process since I’m rebuilding the store product-by-product.

Thank you for your patience and support as my sister, Shoshanah, and I continue the work our dad started. The encouragement from this community truly means a lot to us.
