Standard Height?
Many times a guitar is referred to as "standard height".
Are different model guitars all the same standard height?
What measurement is considered standard?
Just wondering....

Re: Standard Height?
The most common "standard" I am aware of is 30 1/2" floor to strings, on a D10 this is the top neck with the back neck 1/4" lower. Thus 1" under should measure 29 1/2" floor to strings. Student models are often built shorter, and taller players sometimes prefer 1" over height i.e. 31 1/2" floor to strings. My Zum was built 1" under height and I swapped the legs for standard length and added 1" extensions to the rods to achieve the "standard" height of my other instruments.

Re: Standard Height?
26" is what I've always heard. Under side rail, to the floor.

Re: Standard Height?
What Bill said considering a standard leg is app. 26 inches not counting the threaded portion making that the height at the leg attachment point at the endplate.
Height of the guitar body, strings etc. from the bottom of the apron up varies some with different brands and models but that's a good general measurement to start.
