Will the E9 Neck perform properly without C6 pedal rods installed? -- Emmons Lashley Legrande III D-10
If transporting to a gig where only the E9 neck will be used, is it ok not to set up the C6 pedals (and therefore have to take them down again for repacking)? Is there any interplay between the two necks that would effect tuning or anything else important?
It has the counterforce mechanisms on both necks, if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance, and apologies if this is a stupid question!

I can’t see why it would cause issues with the E9 operating properly, but I can’t imagine that it would save enough time to not set it up completely. It looks strange too, pedals on the floor with no rods.

Not unless you had some E9 changes on any of the C6 pedals. It only takes maybe 30 seconds to install or remove the C6 pedal rods, so I don't see the point.
