Sarno Earth Drive with a Solid State Amp Experience
Hi all,
Do any of you have experience running Sarno Earth Drive with a solid state amp, specifically Quilter amps?
I am considering a Sarno Earth Drive for my Quilter Tone Block 202 in a live pedal steel setup.
I want an OD with light dirt that I plan to stack with an amp in the box pedal and/or fuzz.
Any input helps! Thank you!

Rich, I use the Earth Drive with a Quilter Tone Block 201, and thru a Fishman Loudbox mini, a Fender Tone Master Twin Reverb, and an old 65 BlackFace Princeton (tube amp). It works great with all my amps. Obviously, it is set differently for each amp, guitar, and desired tone—it has the range to adjust . I really like the pedal.
A banjo, like a pet monkey, seems like a good idea at first.

I use one with the super block patched into the effects loop. Works good for me. Rollin

Thank you for the replies. Once I get the funds I am getting an Earth Drive. Will report my findings here.

There are so many great options, Earth Drive sure gets a lot of love so you could not go wrong with that one.

Agreed, I use the Earth Drive with Quilter Mach 3 head and it sounds sweet!
