Sarno Earth Drive - Pedal Steel Demo ?

Post by Henry Schuellerman »

Does anyone have any samples / audio clips / demos of the Sarno Earth Drive being used w/ pedal steel? I read that it was designed to work well with pedal steel (and most other instruments) by Brad who plays steel himself. Thinking of pulling the trigger on one soon.

I scoured online and could only find demos of the pedal on normal 6 string guitar.

Hi Henry, I used one on this session a while back. If I remember, I had the drive set about half way. It can get much heavier(dirtier) or you can set it for a subtle overdrive.

Is Paul Newell related to the late Richard Newell (aka King Biscuit Boy), also from Hamilton?

Hey Jack, I asked Paul and he said: Not sure, some say yes, some say no. I have to say, I live only 2 1/2 hours from Hamilton and I've not heard of him.
