That's what I fly my G2 D-10 in. You'd want to foam it carefully, though.

It will be interesting to see how much padding is recommenced. The case itself would be very rigid so I imagine the padding is more about fitting the guitar rather than protecting it although drop shock is a key factor too. Internal dimensions are available for these cases
