Ron Anderson's Justice Pedal Steels

Post by Greg Forsyth »

Hello All,
After having a pedal steel for a little while earlier this decade, I decided to buy another. I bugged a bunch of people about used steels they we're selling, and read a lot about buying used and decided to buy a new one. After researching new guitar builds that were within my budget, I took the plunge and ordered a Justice S10 from Ron Anderson. The S10 is the very reasonably priced base model Ron builds. When I ordered the S10 Ron's stated build time was within 14 weeks. It was ready within 12 weeks. With family living several hours from Gilbert, AZ my wife and I took the opportunity to visit with family and drive to Gilbert to pick up the guitar.
I enjoyed meeting with Ron, who was kind and easy to talk with, answered all my questions and walk me thru the guitar's workings.
When I got the guitar home and had time to go thru it I'll say I'm very satisfied with the fit and finish, quality of the mechanics, ease of playing and tone.

We didn't detune it before I left and when I tuned at home 6 of the 10 strings were in tune and the other 4 were within 4 cent of tune. Same way with tuning the pedals and knees. My Justice S10 has a Lawrence 705 pickup which I really like.

Congratulations on your new Justice S10, Greg! I asked Ron to build me one back in 2023 and I received it in about 12 weeks. I can honestly say it's an awesome instrument and I am so glad I decided to go to Ron. He's a great guy to deal with and is always willing to take the time to talk. I am extremely happy with my steel and love it more each time I play. Enjoy yours!!

Love my Justice. I was new to the pedal steel world, but Ron made ordering easy and set my mind at ease. Been very happy with my purchase and glad I decided to go with Ron.
