Robbie Flint steels for sale

Post by Bobby Martin »

Listed on the Forum recently are Robbie's Emmons and Derby for sale on Tommy Hannum's site. Is he alright? Both of these great players were a big influence on me back in the '70s around D.C. I even did a demo session with Robbie on lead guitar and me on steel. He's always been a fine guitar player and pedal steeler, 'been following his successful carrer forever and proud to say I knew him way back when. A gentleman and true ambassador of our favorite instrument. Hope he's healthy and doing well.
Retired my "Flying Pro III" playin' gigs with the "little bud" in the Northern Shenandoah Valley.

I hope Robbie is doing well too. The Emmons and Derby are the guitars he played in Alan Jackson's band, The Strayhorns
