He's a great musician period..Lap/console/pedal steel, great on each, great six string, great bass, and a good enough vocalist to sing with Marty Stuart and the boys.. I mean seriously... Its not fair that anyone should be that talented... oh yeah, and he seems like a very cool very personable guy as well... bob

Yes Bob, Chris is the total package, I lucky have met him a few times, one of the coolest when he and Marty backed up the Byrds’ Sweethearts tour at Town Hall on NYC.

And yes, he’s a really nice man.

I didn’t realize his mom was a singer too, and has one of the songs on this new great recording. What a talented family!

Yes, his mother is Gail Davies, who had a great voice.. She had a big hit with Jagged Edge of a Broken Heart many years ago.. I remember that song well because when one of my boys was a tiny baby, screaming because he was tired, or hungry or whatever a couple month old baby screams about, I would play that record, and when he heard her beautiful soaring vocals especially towards the end of the song, he would stop crying instantly, on a dime, and listen intently, quiet as a mouse.. until the song was over.. Usually by that time he fell asleep.. I'll never forget that.. So Chris had the genetics in place i suppose. bob
