TT speaker in a Princeton Reverb
I just came up in one of these Travis Toy speakers for a good price. I put it in my old Princeton Reverb, no problem fitting it in just have to turn it a little so the cutout fits the transformer. It sounds really great, it feels like a JBL in a deluxe or twin !

Was this a 10"? I had a baffle made for my brown Princeton and put a 12" Celestion Blue... that is a sweet rig.
Too much junk to list... always getting more.

Nah, it’s a 12. I pride myself on
Being able to cram any 12 into a Princeton, with the exception of a real JBL

OK, you modded the baffle? I've got a JBL E120 in a Vibratone cab... the hole is still for 10", but I run my 100w Marshall into it no issues yet (full wet). I had an EV12L in it and melted it, turns out you can melt an EV12L if you block that little screen vent on the back!Andre Dardeau wrote: 4 Oct 2025 11:40 am Nah, it’s a 12. I pride myself on

TT12 is a sweet speaker but the high end rolls off a full octave lower than the JBL, and the TT is also peakier in the midrange. Perfect for some players, annoying for others. I replaced the TT12 in my BlockDock cab with a D120F and found my ultimate joy.
