I have in my possession an old fender dual neck 8 string. I think it's a Fender Custom model and probably made in the early 50"s. It needs total refurbishing. All the basic components are there, but it lacks the following: probable renewal of the pickups, the legs need the inserts for locking the height adjustment, and overall cosmetic refurbishing. Serial # is 3353. A local musician gave me this and his dad's Sho-Bud Permanent about 25 years ago. I've left it untouched and would like to find it a proper home. I would appreciate an estimate of the current worth.

Re: Need some help with pricing a steel
It's called a Dual Professional and, while it's kinda rough, it's a cool guitar. A lot of it's value is as a player instrument, so it kinda needs to play, do the pickups and tuners work? These are common issues with those, any cracks at the tail end where the strings go through the plate? Oh I see one plate is cut.
If you just want to sell it as is, it would probably move fast at 750.00 imo
