This looks amazing..
Everything the Tonex One has plus a LED screen at half the price.
Anyone tried it?

I have had mine for a little over a week. My first impressions are very good. I had the GP-200LT which is the 4 foot switch version and I already knew I liked the amp models and effects, but I didn't like how complicated the whole device is. I jumped at the GP-5 when I first saw it and they are finally available.

The biggest difference between this and Tonex is everything has to be done in the App. This is actually why I bought the pedal, because I prefer editing on a computer. The devices themselves become overly complicated when they are designed to be both manually and computer edited. There is always a compromise in manual vs computer editing. I love the App and it is incredibly easy to use and works on my computer, my smartphone and my iPad. I don't have any complaints so far except I wish there were some more subtle overdrives. They are all pretty high gain except for the Tube screamer. The Amp selection has the same problem, lots of amps, but only a few are good for clean sounds. This is not surprising because these are designed for guitar players obviously. All the other effects are more than adequate. I haven't loaded any IR's or NAM files which will be fun to play around with at some point, but the stock device is way more than adequate for me. I am not sure how it will perform with modern steel guitar pickups. My pickups are single coils a lot like regular guitar pickups.
