I did a Postmodern Jukebox video

Post by Kully Stiles »

This was super fun. It's a great opportunity to bring nonpedal steel to a wide audience with a massive platform like PMJ. Band was great to play with (I like the singer so much I married her), and I especially love that they do it live with no prerecording or overdubbing. Steel solo towards the end of the video.

WOW! Great all around. Congratulations on your restraint. If I got to do one of these I'd never EVER shut up about it. (not that I'm at that level but.... nevertheless.)

Thanks for the nice words! Frank, yes it's a Ric, and I think it's gotta be the rarest steel I own. Its the JB-10 (10-string variant of the Jerry Byrd model). Took me years to track down. Messaging one guy, who sold it to another guy, who sold it on reverb to someone who traded to a guy with no email 😂 you know the story.
