Hello.
I have two Alumitones (Aluma 90) and i would like to try the split wiring. From what i gather, a DPDT switch should do the trick. What i´m not sure of is which switch, ON/ON or ON/OFF/ON.
What i want is one position fo the normal wiring (both pickups), second position both have the split wiring.
The steel is a Fender 1000. 2 pickups/ 3 way switch / vol and tone.
Thanks.
Pascal

Re: Alumitones split wiring
Normally for coil split you just use an off/ on to ground out the connection between two coils, but looking at the alumitone wiring diagram it seems you need to swap the ground connection between two wires so an on/ on would be appropriate, dual pole to do both pickups at the same time.
