Larry King's Celebration of Life.

Larry King went to be with the Lord this morning at 11:00. Many of you know Larry King as a great bass player, singer, and steel guitar supporter. He played bass guitar and sang on our OSGA show for MANY. years. He has been traveling all over the USA most of his life sharing his talents in churches and shows. He will be missed so much. He was scheduled to play his bass at our show June 20 and 21. He had planned on a vocal set with his family and friends and we know that he picked out some favorites. He was so knowledgeable of the history of country music.

Larry was to me a great friend, brother in Christ and a very special band mate for many years. He will be sorely missed at our private jams and anywhere Classic Country music will be played. Prayers for Deb and the family.

I met Larry at the Oklahoma Steel Show by the airport. We instantly became friends. He played bass guitar for me at the Oklahoma and Texas Shows. I would talk with him every week on the phone. He became like a 2nd Dad to me. I told people he was my adopted cousin. I will definitely miss him and the friendship we shared. The great news he was a Christian brother. The Oklahoma club has suffered a great loss. Prayers for his family during this most difficult time.
