Black Box Mini on a Pedalboard
I'm looking to put a Black Box mini on a pedalboard and would like to use one power supply for the entire board. Brad has said that he'd like the mini to have a minimum of 700mA available and I can't find a supply with that much on hand although the Cioks DC7 has a nine volt line with 660mA. I'm assuming that using a doubler would be a bad idea since I don't want to feed the mini 18v. Anyone find a high quality supply that works well? Other ideas for a workaround?

Current doubler cable is what you need. I just did that with a BB mini on a board and it works great. Cioks DC7 is my power supply, but I got a Hosa adapter to take two RCA males>single RCA female and then another RCA>9V cable into the black box. It's still sending only 9V to the black box, but with the combined current of two 9V outputs. Just make sure the cable is a current doubler and not a voltage doubler.

Re: Black Box Mini on a Pedalboard
I have a Cioks AC7 - like the DC7 sort of, but one output is AC I need for a pedal. A Kingsley OD pedal. 12v AC.
My other Kingsley pedals are DC but 9v, need 500 mA. To get that, I had to use a current doubler, The power supply came with it, as well as a voltage doubler, just make sure to use the right one.

NOT this one, which is the voltage doubler

May I ask if your Black Box Mini produces any hum when connected to effects pedals? I’ve been experiencing this issue recently—whenever I connect the BB Mini to any pedal, I immediately get ground noise.
Could you share how you’re using your Black Box setup?
Thanks in advance!

It's actually just what I'm hoping to do so I can't actually provide any ideas, I'm afraid. (And thanks. to those of you who replied about the power issue!)
