Anyone know a bout this steeler?
Hey all
This is a great version of Jim Reeves's "I Won't Forget You"
by Lars Egil Vågseter
www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUsGbgqwbkw
I sat down and studied the performance and tabbed it.
I wrote to Lars and asked about any upcoming records.
He told me he is back in the studio real soon.
His style is unique and I learned a lot about the way he picks, by tabbing the video.
The first three pages give an insight to his style, anyone wanting a copy, leave your request here, along with
an email address to send the tab to.
Kind regards.
J.R.

John, I'd love a copy too. Lately been working on some of Dick Overbey and working with unique stylists certainly provides new avenues for our own musical language.
All the best!
