RR is coming to our local Theater here in Portland.
Decided to grab tix and see what he's up to.

Pete, you wont be disappointed, I've seen him many times, doesn't live too far from me. He's a real talent and a really nice guy to boot!
Regards, Craig

I cried because I had no shoes, then I met a man who had no feet.

Uugh...
I'm quite likely never going to a concert at the Aladdin Theater ever again.
I met with Robert before the Show and had a nice conversation. He remembered that I was there the day he picked up his new Sierra (back when Sierra was still going strong), and gave him a ride to his gig (he put me on the guest list that night).
He was super nice and friendly. Asked about the guys that worked at Sierra, etc.
Glad he took a sec to talk with me.
The opening band was so incredibly loud that after about 10 seconds into the first song I had to stand out in the lobby (our local sound man must be deaf now).
I gave two sets of earplugs I had on me to two women with fingers in their ears.
My musicians earplugs weren't helping at all.
My tinnitus was triggered and my ears are still ringing this morn.
Robert had his own soundman, and the volume/mix was a little better.
I have seen Robert live many times and don't recall having issue with overwhelming sound volume/pressure.
Had to leave early to save my hearing.
I got a gig tomorrow and didn't want to be in that sound pressue/volume.
Oy. That didn't go so well for me.
Im still all for Robert and his career success!
