Larry Marvel with Merle
Somebody in Shelly West's family posted this picture showing Merle, David Frizzell, Larry Marvel on steel and Shelly West on bass. Larry Marvel is a name I hadn't heard before. Is he someone who played with Merle at one time early on is is this likely just a one time get together? Merle was my favorite country singer/song writer ever... Dadgum.... Forget to put the picture in. I'll do it later this evening when I get back home.

Larry lived here in Nashville for years. He was working for Shellie West.
