Tonex Users: New Tonex Upgraded Software Released

Tonex has just released an update to the software and new firmware for the hardware. This new upgrade makes it possible to edit all the presets on the computer directly to the preset bank where the software is stored. You now have the normal Tonex amp modeling page and a Tonex Editor page under two different icons.

This means you don't have to create a preset from a model, load the preset in the model, and if you aren't happy with it, change it on the Tonex Pedal. I tried it and I gotta say it's 100% easier, faster, and not at all hard to learn how to navigate through the software. It really enhances the usability of this software.

I tried my Tonex at a gig last Saturday, and the steel guitar sounds I used with the Milkman and Twin Reverb were awesome. When I switched over to guitar-type amps and sounds, I found I need to tweak the input gains so I don't have such a difference in volume between the different amps.

Mainly, this is just to inform you that you can now upgrade your Tonex to the latest and greatest.

It's in the Same Tonex you already downloaded. look to the right and you'll the the word Upgrade in the color green Same place the original download prompt one was. Shouldn't be any problem.

The new editor software comes with the upgrade but is not obvious- the Librarian has moved from the main software to the Editor software and I found that by searching my computer for the Tonex Editor.

Just built a touch screen for my tonexone. Can use the screen to scroll through the 20 presets as well as make all the changes (eq, reverb, mods, etc) Worth it. Short video of mine here...

On Steel I’m using a ToneX pedal amp modler. Milkman amp preset by Joe Rogers crafty mind.
